We are pleased to invite you to a webinar introducing Scientific Climate Ratings (SCR) - a newly established agency dedicated to delivering transparent, standardised assessments of climate risk exposure and its financial materiality for private organisations. Developed by the EDHEC Climate Institute, SCR ratings evaluate how both transition risks (from decarbonisation and policy shifts) and physical risks (from events like floods, heatwaves, and wildfires) affect asset value. Our approach combines high-resolution geospatial data, advanced climate models, and financial valuation methods to deliver two key metrics: • Potential Climate Exposure Rating (PCER): Measures future exposure under a "continuity" policy scenario, rated from A (least exposed) to G (most exposed). • Effective Climate Risk Rating (ECRR): Quantifies dollar impact (NAV-adjusted) under multiple climate scenarios through 2035 and 2050. Currently available to users: • Complimentary access to climate risk ratings on more than 6,000 infrastructure assets. • Coming in 2026: Coverage will include 5,000+ listed companies globally. Both ratings are enhanced by the ClimaTech database, which factors in the effectiveness of asset-specific decarbonisation and resilience strategies. Join us for an upcoming webinar where will show how Scientific Climate Ratings quantifies the financial materiality of climate risk. Walking you through the underlying methodologies, we will demonstrate how these ratings help investors, corporates, and public institutions make better-informed decisions and drive climate-resilient investments.
